The speed reducer shall be a single reduction worm gear reducer incorporating three input configurations - a quill style for direct attachment of electric motors, a separate keyed input shaft suitable for flexible coupling to a footed motor or belt and pulley input configuration and a motor adapter style input that employs a three piece coupling to connect electric motors to the reducer. These input configurations shall be available in both solid and hollow output shaft designs. The reducer shall be manufactured in the United States of America.

The Dodge® high torque HT500 synchronous drive product line utilizes a modified curvilinear tooth profile to delivers high torque, low maintenance and high energy efficiency with less overhung load than V-belt drives. The HT500 product family features a complete offering of synchronous sprockets with shaft attachment options including taper-lock and QD bushings (fin fan), as well as minimum plain bore sprockets (MPB) and idler sprockets available from stock.

Dodge® branded sheaves come in two bushing styles, QD and Taper Lock®. In addition to these bushing choices, Dodge® now offers choices within our QD sheaves line. Our QD sheave line comes in a standard duty and a heavy duty offering.

Dodge® synchronous belt drives require no lubrication. They provide a positive engagement between a toothed belt and a toothed sprocket and are offered with curvilinear, modified curvilinear and trapezoidal tooth profiles.
