A repeating SharkBite imprint patterns provides a visual aid to determine if the tube has been inserted all the way into the SharkBite Push-to-Connect Fitting. This feature only works if the tubing is cut between the SharkBite imprint patterns. In addition to Potable Water Supply SharkBite PEX meets UL Standard for Plastic Piping in Fire Systems.

SharkBite large-diameter Push-to-Connect fittings are the fastest way to connect PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE pipe in any combination. They are available in 1-1/4-IN, 1-1/2-IN and 2-IN CTS sizes. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools are required. Simply insert the pipe and the teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a watertight seal. Changes can easily be made by rotating the fitting after installation. Removing the fitting is just as fast using a disconnect tool so fittings can be easily changed or reused.
