Installers use Sioux Chief's spacer and repair rings to repair or adapt closet flanges for specific applications, such as when new or thicker flooring is added. The Quick Spacer™ installs under the flange, while the Raise-A-Ring™ is typically set on top of the flange, and can be stacked if necessary. For repairs to cracked or broken flanges, installers can fit Sioux Chief's stainless steel Ringer™ over the damaged flange and fasten it to the floor. Also available is a two-piece repair ring, designed to replace rusted or broken metal swivel rings without replacing the plastic portion of the flange.

Closet Flanges

Sioux Chief 889 series full flush closet flanges shall be used where necessary in drainage systems. Flange shall allow 1-1/2 in offset in any direction and have a full-swivel, corrosion-proof stainless steel ring with sufficient holes for securing to floor and slots for inserting closet bolts. Flange shall have an offset inner diameter area properly sized to allow full 3 in spherical flow for complete drainage and clog resistance. Flange shall have a 3 in SCH 40/STD hub connection which conforms to ASTM D2665 (PVC). Closet flange shall be UPC listed. Always fasten closet flanges to the floor.

Closet Flanges

Installed closet flanges shall be Sioux Chief 890 Series cast iron closet flange. Closet flange shall have three screw holes for securing to floor, and two closet bolt slots. Internal neoprene compression gasket shall create seal when lock ring is tightened via three stainless steel bolts. Flange shall have an integral neoprene test cap and be UPC listed.

Sioux Chief 840 series general-purpose floor drain shall be used where necessary in drainage systems. Floor drain shall have an ABS/PVC body with SCH 40 hub connection in accordance with ASTM D2661/D2665 and connect to pipe via solvent weld joint. Strainer shall be heel-proof, 19-gauge 430 stainless steel and meet applicable load requirements for intended use.

Sioux Chief 827 or 828 series shower module drain shall be used where necessary in drainage systems. Shower drain shall have an outer locknut design with compression gasket connection for Sch. 40 ABS/PVC pipe. Snap-in strainer shall meet all applicable load and flow requirements for intended use. Designed in accordance with ASME A112.18.2-2005/CSA B125.2-05.
