Rust-Oleum''s Commercial Universal Alkyd Primer is a high solids, oil-based primer designed for interior and exterior surfaces when optimal surface preparation is not possible. Our Universal Alkyd Primer is suitable for nearly all surfaces and provides excellent penetration, flexibility and stain blocking properties. It has excellent adhesion to dense, glossy surfaces such as enamel paints varnishes, paneling, laminates and ceramic tile without the need for sanding or de-glossing. It can be used as a DTM coating and has a fast drying time.
