With a large variety of add-on accessories, the Raider® Plus line of worm gear reducers is a problem solver. Four unit styles form the basis of this vast product offering. These are the universal style ("U" style, shaft input) with an output shaft and the C-face style ("Q" style, input quill) with an output shaft. Both the "U" and "Q" styles are also available with hollow outputs. The Raider® Plus worm gear reducer is designed as an industry interchange. The 5000® Series of bearings is similar in construction to the 400® Series bearing except it has a flange on the outer ring to locate the bearing when pressed into a tube or housing, thus eliminating the need for an external mounting device. The bearings are designed for moderate loads and speeds where running accuracy and noise level requirements do not warrant the more expensive precision ground bearings. This series of bearings feature a full ball complement without a retainer. The rings are case hardened and the soft steel band on the outer ring of the unitized assembly allows the bearing to be pressed into a housing without the necessity of close housing tolerances. The bearings are supplied pregreased as a standard. The bearings are designed for use in applications with speeds not exceeding 1200 rpm.

Browning® mounted ball bearings feature multiple housing styles, materials and configurations, an extended inner race insert bearing with ball riding nylon retainer. The insert features a rivet to prevent outer ring rotation and is available with setscrew, eccentric, or BOA concentric locking collar. The contact seal, with black oxide treated flinger provides a good balance between contaminant resistance, grease loss and friction. Depending on your preference, these bearings are available in inch and metric bore with a wide variety of cast iron, stamped steel or rubber mount housings or specific industry solutions as illustrated on the pages to follow.
