IDC Select® classical A/B combination, C and D sheaves, and narrow 3V, 5V, and 8V sheaves are available in QD® bushing designs. They are precision machined from 30 gray cast iron, statically balanced, painted with a baked enamel finish and individually packaged.

Browning® torque limiters are torque control devices that slip under excessive load but automatically carry the desired load after the excess has been removed. The device can be easily adjusted to slip at a desired overload and automatically re-engage when overload is removed. Overload should be removed promptly since prolonged slippage can be detrimental to the friction disc. Generally, no resetting is required after the torque limiter has slipped. Torque limiters help prevent machine and product damage and costly downtime caused by shock loads, overloads or machine jams but should not be used as clutches.

A setscrew shaft attachment method is the most common means of securing a mounted ball bearing to a shaft and also the easiest to install. The Dodge® mounted ball bearing offering is engineered with a 65 deg setscrew angle. This ensures the maximum grip onto the shaft, especially when using premium cup point set screws with the high quality manufacturing of the Dodge® insert.
