Martin idlers are smooth-running and available in oil-impregnated, sintered bronze, extra-duty bearing press-fitted in sprocket and a hardened steel journal case for maximum resistance to wear. Steel sprockets used in Martin idlers are accurately machined (not stamped) the same as sprockets normally supplied for power transmission use. A plates are flat sprockets with no hub extension on either side. They can be altered for your application with bolt holes, custom bores, hardened teeth or special hubs welded to them.

These finished bore sprockets are shaft ready and come complete with keyways and setscrews. The keyways are on center line of the tooth. Bored to size sprockets with 1/2 in bores and smaller are stocked with (2) setscrews only.
