Gates® Power Transmission Super HC® Molded Notch PowerBand® 12/5VX710 Heavy Duty Molded Notch V-Belt, 5VX Section, 5/8 in W Top, 71 in L Outside, 35/64 in THK, EPDM
When your power transmission application needs a high horsepower solution but is constrained by drive weight or physical space, the answer is Super HC™ Molded Notch belts. Our proprietary ethylene construction process provides a superior combination of flex and load-carrying capacity, transmitting up to three times the horsepower versus comparably sized belts. Super HC MN V-belts put more power where high speeds, high speed ratios or small pulley diameters are required, offering significant benefits over classical section V-belts.

- Flex-bonded cords are strongly bonded to the body of the belt resulting in equal load distribution and the absorption of bending stress without cord deterioration
- Notches molded into the belt during manufacturing increase flexibility making this belt well suited for drives with smaller diameter sheaves
- The tie band assures high lateral rigidity, guiding the belt in a straight line and preventing it from coming off the drive
- Patented ethylene material construction provides -60 to 250 deg F temperature range to resist belt cracking

Browning® mounted ball bearings feature multiple housing styles, materials and configurations, an extended inner race insert bearing with ball riding nylon retainer. The insert features a rivet to prevent outer ring rotation and is available with setscrew, eccentric, or BOA concentric locking collar. The contact seal, with black oxide treated flinger provides a good balance between contaminant resistance, grease loss and friction. Depending on your preference, these bearings are available in inch and metric bore with a wide variety of cast iron, stamped steel or rubber mount housings or specific industry solutions as illustrated on the pages to follow.
Gates® Power Transmission Hi-Power® II A112 Banded Classical Heavy Duty V-Belt, A Section, 1/2 in W Top, 114 in L Outside, 5/16 in THK, EPDM
The wrapped classical section Hi-Power™ V-belt has a long reputation for reliability on agricultural and industrial applications. The arched top of the Hi-Power belt provides superior strength to prevent "dishing" and distortion of the tensile section. The cords are properly aligned, each of them carrying its full share of the load.
