OIL AND HEAT RESISTANT, STATIC DISSIPATING. A MORE NARROW, DEEPER WEDGE SHAPE WITH MORE EFFICIENT LOAD CARRYING CHARACTERISTICS AND HIGHER POWER CAPABILITY ALLOWS FOR SMALLER, MORE COMPACT DRIVES. THESE BELTS FEATURE THE UNIMATCH CONSTRUCTION. THIS ELIMINATES BELT SET MATCHING WITH ITS MULTIPLE STOCKING AND BELT WASTAGE PROBLEMS.

Milwaukee 120-V 12-AMP 3/4"STROKE RECIPROSAW MWK 6509-31

Electric Reciprocating Saws
$169.77

The (6509-31) SAWZALL® Reciprocating Saw delivers best in class cut speed, durability and power with 0-3,000 strokes per minute, a 3/4 in. stroke length and a 12 amp motor. The gear protecting clutch extends gear and motor life by absorbing high impact forces and a QUIK-LOK™ blade clamp offers fast tool-free blade changes. To provide greater user comfort, a counter weighted mechanism reduces vibration for smoother operation and a redesigned front grip area provides best in class ergonomics.

The principle of a variable pitch sheave is that the threaded angular faced discs forming the V-shaped groove in which the belt rides are movable. VP sheaves consist of a male with a threaded barrel, and a female with a threaded bore. The male section with threaded barrel has flat surfaces at 180 deg increments that allow a flat surface for the setscrew to mate with. When the discs are moved toward each other, the belt rides higher in the groove and the pitch diameter of the sheave is larger which increases the driven speed. When the discs are moved away from each other, the belt rides lower and the pitch diameter is smaller decreasing the driven speed. The common term for this speed adjustment is called number of turns open from closed position.
