Core Drills
Milwaukee® 48-20-5150 Heavy Duty Thick Wall Core Bit, 3-1/2 in Drill - Fraction, 3.5 in Drill - Decimal Inch, Carbide
Milwaukee's core bits are ideal for large hole drilling where depth is relatively shallow. The core bit cuts a Kerf only. The usable depth of thick wall core bits is 4-3/8 in.. the inside core must be removed by the operator before deeper drilling can be accomplished. The thick wall construction is ideal for larger hammers and more seasoned/cured concrete. A 7-1/2 in. extension is available to allow for the deeper holes to be drilled. The appropriate (Dependant on the diameter) Spline drive shank must be used to drive the core bit. Use 48-20-5199 center pin and 48-20-5173 guide plate for positioning and starting the hole. Thick wall core bits are available from 1 in. to 6 in. diameters. See thin wall core bits for less expensive drilling in new concrete and/or smaller hammers.
Milwaukee® 48-20-5155 Heavy Duty Thick Wall Core Bit, 4 in Drill - Fraction, 4 in Drill - Decimal Inch
Milwaukee's core bits are ideal for large hole drilling where depth is relatively shallow. The core bit cuts a Kerf only. The usable depth of thick wall core bits is 4-3/8 in. The inside core must be removed by the operator before deeper drilling can be accomplished. The thick wall construction is ideal for larger hammers and more seasoned/cured concrete. Use 48-20-5199 center pin and 48-20-5174 guide plate for positioning and starting the hole. Thick wall core bits are available from 1 in. to 6 in. diameters. See thin wall core bits for less expensive drilling in new concrete and/or smaller hammers.
Milwaukee® 48-20-5160 Heavy Duty Thick Wall Core Bit, 5 in Drill - Fraction, 5 in Drill - Decimal Inch
Milwaukee’s one piece Carbide tipped core bits are ideal for drilling large holes in brick, block, and concrete. The asymmetric tooth pitch with alternating tooth geometries for up to 20% faster drilling speeds. The one piece design maximizes energy transfer and the thick wall core body is durable in large hammers. The fluted core exterior minimizes friction loss and removes debris faster. Core bit cut with the outer cutting edge only. The inside core must be removed to allow for deeper hole drilling applications beyond 3 in.. centering bit 48-20-5495 (included) is recommended for exact spot drilling and to avoid bit wandering during use. The drift key 48-20-5497 (not included) allows for easy removal of the centering bit. The one piece core bits are available in SDS Max or spline shanks, ranging from 1-1/2 in. to 6 in. diameters and overall lengths of 11-3/8 in. or 22 in., with a drilling depth of 3 in.
