Double Split Tapered Bushings are used on sheaves, sprockets and pulleys to provide increased clamping force over standard bore-to-size components. They are tapered in design with flanges and utilize cap screws to tighten on the shaft. The double split design assures better concentricity to the shaft and provides the highest degree of mechanical locking component to component. Most sizes are contructed of ductile iron to provide strength and duarability. Each Split Taper Bushing series is produced in a number of different bore size options, most that include a keyway, allowing users flexibility when using sheaves, sprockets or pulleys in applications that may utilize various shaft sizes.

The NIBCO® Press System® copper male adapter features an inboard bead and EPDM O-ring. Simply applying pressure from a pressing tool tightens the O-ring onto the tube, ensuring a clean, watertight seal in seconds, with no flame, solder or flux. The male adapter has a press connection and male NPT thread. The fitting provides a method for adapting a press connection to a threaded connection.
