Heat Resistant Coatings

Hard Hat 7715 and 7778 should be used on new, bare steel, blasted steel or light rusted steel surfaces or properly prepared painted substrates alike barbecue grills, fire place equipment, space heaters etc. Provides heat resistance up to 750 deg C (1380 deg F) dry heat (short term peak resistance) in sheltered or interior environments.

Alkyd High Heat Coatings offer three levels of heat protection and will withstand continuous exposure to the temperatures in their posted range. General Purpose is designed for surfaces exposed to temperatures up to 400 deg F. Heavy Duty is designed for surfaces exposed to temperatures up to 800 deg F. High-Performance offers the highest level of heat protection for surfaces exposed to temperatures up to 1200 deg F. These products are self-priming can be applied directly to metal and prepared previously coated surfaces.
