Reed Tools 18" RW-18 H/DUTY PIPE WRENCHES RPT 02160
REED Heavy-Duty Straight Pipe Wrenches are the most popular pipe wrench style. High-tensile ductile iron handle and hardened, alloy steel parts are designed to withstand the heaviest demands. New production tooling for the hook jaws produces sharper teeth on the 18, 24 and 36 in models. This change yields a still better grip for hard oil field pipe.

O-rings are closed circular rings of circular cross-section. They are made through vulcanization from form tools as a complete ring. The sealing function of the O-ring is achieved by the deformation of the cross-section when installed and compressed in its housing. The O-ring can be compressed either radially or axially in its installation housing. In operating conditions the pressure exerted by the media reinforces the sealing function, as under pressure the elastomer material functions as a non-compressible fluid.
