Tongue & Groove Pliers

Both the Knipex® Cobra® XL and XXL offer the performance and comfort of water pump pliers while being lighter in weight and having a greater gripping capacity than comparable pipe wrenches. The Cobra® XL can e.g. Grip a 2 in pipe fitting and weighs 50 % less than a 2 in pipe wrench, which has a much lower gripping capacity. With its handy length of 400 mm, the Cobra® XL also fits into a plumber's tool kit. The Cobra® XXL comes along with the weight of a 2 in pipe wrench but offers a back-up gripping capacity up to 4-1/2 in.

The KNIPEX Cobra XS is the smallest water pump plier in the world with full functional capability. It grips like a big tool, but its compact design and slim head provide firm grip even in tight spaces. It has one-handed quick adjustment for fitting various workpiece sizes. It also self-locks on pipes and nuts, grips surfaces with special hardened teeth, and features a pinch guard which prevents operators' fingers from being pinched.

The Raptor Pliers combines the convenience of the comfortable push-button adjustment on the workpiece and the function of an all-purpose tightening tool. Jaw gripping with zero backlash prevents slipping on the bolt head or rounding edges. Even rusty or thick coated bolted connections which have no surfaces capable of being gripped reliably by a conventional wrench can be managed by the exceptionally powerful closing gripping jaws of this wrench.
