WATTS® 0009257 LF25AUB-Z3 Lead Free Pressure Reducing Valve, 3/4 in Nominal, FNPT Union x FNPT End Style, 25 to 75 psi Pressure, Cast Copper Silicon Alloy Body
This 3/4 inch lead free brass water pressure reducing valve is designed to reduce incoming water pressure to protect plumbing systems and reduce water consumption for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. The easy maintenance assembly consists of a replaceable seat module, NPT threaded female union inlet by NPT female outlet and a bypass feature to control thermal expansion pressure. The temperature range is 33 to 160 degrees F (0.5 to 71 degrees C). The standard pressure setting is 50 psi (345 kPa) with maximum working pressure at 300 psi (20.7 bar).

Browning® 1045319 VP Series Type 1 Variable Pitch Sheave, 5/8 in Finished Bore, 3-3/4 in OD, 1 Groove, 2.3 to 3.1 in (3L)/2.6 to 3.6 in (A/4L)/2.8 to 3.8 in (5L/B) Dia Pitch, 21/32 to 1-1/32 in W Face
The principle of a variable pitch sheave is that the threaded angular faced discs forming the V-shaped groove in which the belt rides are movable. VP sheaves consist of a male with a threaded barrel, and a female with a threaded bore. The male section with threaded barrel has flat surfaces at 180 deg increments that allow a flat surface for the setscrew to mate with. When the discs are moved toward each other, the belt rides higher in the groove and the pitch diameter of the sheave is larger which increases the driven speed. When the discs are moved away from each other, the belt rides lower and the pitch diameter is smaller decreasing the driven speed. The common term for this speed adjustment is called number of turns open from closed position.
