CS Unitec’s MABasic line of magnetic drills consists of powerful and reliable machines at an affordable price, a perfect blend of power, endurance and economy. The MABasic 850 is a professional-grade portable magnetic drill designed for continuous use with: 16 Amp, double-insulated motor, 4-speed gearbox (110, 175, 245, 385 RPM), a 10" stroke, and a Morse Taper 3 spindle for easy changeover to different cutting tools. Powerful and portable, this drill cuts holes up to 3-1/16" dia. with annular cutters. The drill's MT3 design, coupled with the included 3/4" geared chuck, easily converts the MABasic 850 to a standard drill press for conventional twist drilling up to 1-1/4” diameter. The MABasic 850 is equipped with an internal lubrication system that increases the life of annular cutters by reducing friction and wear. The machine’s magnet has a holding strength of 6000 lbs.

The sealing function of the O-ring is achieved by the deformation of the cross-section when installed and compressed in its housing. The O-ring can be compressed either radially or axially in its installation housing. In operating conditions the pressure exerted by the media reinforces the sealing function, as under pressure the elastomer material functions as a non-compressible fluid.
