Hole Saw Arbors & Pilot Bits

This Milwaukee hole saw arbor has a 7/16 in. hex shank for greater gripping capability in the chuck. The backing plate is equipped with push pins which lock into holes on the backing plate of the hole saw for positive efficient transmission of torque. It can be used in 1/2 in. capacity drills and larger. The arbor has a 5/8 - 18 thread and can be used on hole saws from 1-1/4 in. and larger. It can be used with (49-56-8000), (49-56-8002) and (49-56-8005) pilot bits. Pilot bit (49-56-8000) is supplied with this arbor for use on wood and metal. One arbor and pilot per package.

Milwaukee® hole saw arbors are made from hardened carbon steel and alloy steel for greater durability. The 49-56-9100 features a 7/16 in. hex shank, which can be used with any 7/16 in. extension. The 49-56-9100 also features a drive plate which is tightened up to the hole saw to eliminate wobble between the Arbor and hole saw.

For materials up to 3/16 in. these Carbide tipped sheet metal hole saws produce fine holes in stainless steel or structural steel studs. They can also improve your production in brass, aluminum and other thin sheet materials. Can be used in hand held drills to achieve drill press quality holes. Lubrication during drilling extends the life of the Carbide. Milwaukee recommends the use of Hawg Wash® cutting fluid for best results. Hawg Wash® fluid is available in 16 oz. Bottles (49-32-0081). One bottle makes one gallon of lubricating solution. 2 in. diameter.

Replacement pilot bit for use with arbor model 49-57-0035 which can be used for both steel plate and sheet metal Carbide tipped hole saws. This bit is standard equipment.

The MILWAUKEE® Carbide Hole Cutter Pilot Bit features carbide teeth for longer life and smooth cuts in stainless steel and other hard metals. Each cutter features a stop shoulder design that prevents over-drilling and limits cuts to a 3/16 in. depth, while a 3-flat shank optimizes each cutter drill bit for use in Drill/Drivers. The spring-loaded pilot bit provides complete plug ejection for clean, efficient cutting of each hole. The solid one-piece design of each hole cutter provides added durability and dependability cut after cut.

Steel Hawg® arbor with No. 3 Morse taper shank for use in Milwaukee magnetic drill motors 4292-1 or 4297 - 1. This arbor adapts quick change Steel Hawg® cutters to a no. 3 internal Morse taper motor. For best cutting results use Hawg Wash® cutting fluid to keep cutting surface cool and lubricated. Hawg Wash® fluid is available in 16 oz. Bottles (49-32-0081). One bottle makes one gallon of lubricating solution. Order oil hose(43-75-0010) and hand pump (44-46-0090) separately to distribute cutting fluid during drilling.

Milwaukee® 49-56-8000 Pilot Bit, 1/4 in Arbor, High Speed Steel
