COGGED V-BELTS ARE SINGLE BELTS THAT MOUNT TO PULLEYS TO TRANSMIT POWER BETWEEN ROTATIONAL SHAFTS. THE FIT OF THE BELTS V-SHAPED PROFILE IN THE GROOVE OF THE PULLEY AND THE PROPER BELT TENSION ARE KEY TO A DRIVE SYSTEM'S PERFORMANCE. COGGED V-BELTS HAVE GROOVES ACROSS THE WIDTH OF THE BELT TO DISSIPATE HEAT.
