Threadlockers

LOCTITE® 277 is a red, high strength, high viscosity, methacrylate-based thread locking adhesive. It has a fixture time on steel of 30 min, brass 25 min and stainless steel 270 min making it deal for applications where migration of the adhesive must be prevented. Can tolerate slight contaminations of industrial oils. Suited to large threads. Fluoresces to allow monitoring.

Permatex® medium strength threadlocker blue gel is a medium strength anaerobic threadlocking gel conveniently packaged in a new Gel Twist™ or Gel Squeeze™ applicator. The product, like its liquid counterpart, is a single component, anaerobic gel that cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces, ideal for all 6 to 25 mm (1/4 to 1 in) Dia threaded assemblies. Excellent chemical resistance and temperature resistance range of -65 to 300 deg F (-54 to 149 deg C). The assembly is easily removable with hand tools for servicing requirements. NSF Nonfood Components Program Listed (P1) (135871).

Permatex Blue Medium Strength Threadlocker meets OEM specifications. It is an all-purpose threadlocker ideal for nut and bolt applications 1/4" to 3/4" (6mm to 20mm). Eliminates need for stocking expensive lock nuts and lock washers. Locks and seals while preventing parts from loosening due to vibration. Protects threads from corrosion. Removable with hand tools for easy disassembly. Conforms to ASTM D 5363 AN0321 (Mil-S-46163A, Type II, Grade N).

Designed for securing parts that must withstand heavy shock, vibration or extreme chemical or environmental conditions. Locks and seals while preventing parts from loosening due to vibration. Protects threads from corrosion. Localized heating and hand tools are required to separate parts. Conforms to ASTM D5363 AN0331 (Mil-S-46163A, Type II, Grade O).

May require heat or special tools for removal. Conforms to ASTM D5363 AN0221, Mil-Spec 46163A, Type I, Grade K.
