The POWERSTATE™ brushless motor provides 4000 rpm for faster cutting and REDLINK™ Plus™ intelligence ensures maximum performance and protection from overload, over heating and over discharge. The M18™ REDLITHIUM™ HIGH OUTPUT™ XC 8 Battery delivers 50% more power and runs 50% cooler than M18™ REDLITHIUM™ XC batteries while still being fully compatible across the M18™ platform. This circular saw has a cut capacity of 2-9/16 in for tackling demanding applications at a larger capacity than any previous cordless metal cutting circular saws.
