Lever type, or over-the-center, binders utilize mechanical advantage to reduce the manpower required to secure a load. When using a lever type load binder, tension can be applied and released quickly. Operators should use caution, as the handle may whip suddenly. When securement is complete, the lever stores in line with load.

The GEARWRENCH® 120XP™ ratchets take access and speed to the next level, making it easier and quicker to complete jobs. The double stacked pawl design gives 120 positions providing a 3 deg ratcheting arc. All of the ratchets feature a low profile head and flush mounted on/off switch, allowing better access in tight spaces. The GEARWRENCH gimbal ratchets are available in 1/4" and 3/8" drive and puts a spin on the traditional palm ratchet. The gimbal design allows the ratchet to pivot in 2 directions providing greater access to fasteners. They feature a 72 tooth ratcheting mechanism giving a 5° swing arc for greater speed. They are color coded for easy size identification - blue for 1/4" drive and red for 3/8" drive.
