The LU1000/ED37 is a high-intensity discharge (HID) 1000-Watt High Pressure Sodium (HPS) light bulb built with a large ED37 shape and a heavy-duty Mogul (E39) screw base. These powerful industrial bulbs require a compatible S52 ballast to safely operate. They generate an intense amber-orange glow of about 2000K to 2100K color temperature and emit an incredibly bright output of roughly 125,000 to 127,000 lumens, making them ideal for spaces like warehouses, streetlights, and large outdoor areas.
LU150/MED is the standard industry part number for a 150-Watt High Pressure Sodium (HPS) HID light bulb. It features an E26 medium screw base, utilizes an ED17 or B17 outer glass bulb shape, and requires an ANSI S55 ballast to operate safely. These bulbs are heavily utilized for commercial outdoor security, parking lot, and roadway applications due to their exceptional 24,000-hour life span and intense 15,000 to 16,000-lumen output.
